Fumigation & Clearance Services
Avon Pest Control has a duty to include a number of cleaning, clearance, biocidal treatment, ultra low volume fogging, smoke and fumigation treatments as part of the decontamination process after pest species have been removed from an area thereby making it safe to allow other personnel to enter and work.
We offer these professional treatments as part of a duty of care to the customer, their employees and members of the public.
All waste material whether it be carcases, nesting debris, droppings or other material has to be properly disposed of at a licensed and approved waste transfer station and must not go down the general waste handling route but be bagged and labelled correctly before delivery to the incinerator plant. All vehicles used to transport waste must have an applicable waste carrier’s license.
Once the affected areas are cleared of debris the building can then be fumigated or fogged with a dense smoke-like treatment to penetrate throughout and control any species of insects found in association with waste material, the area would then be left sealed for a number of hours dependant on the product utilized.
The relevant health and safety documents form part of this process.
The house mouse, Mus musculus is a widespread, common and all too well known inhabitant of the UK, which probably arrived here in the baggage of our Neolithic ancestors some 4000 or 5000 years ago.
It can be distinguished from the wood mouse by its greyer-brown fur. The wood mouse has much whiter feet and under parts and has no noticeable odour.
